CDR Gordon Wisbach

CDR Gordon WisbachCDR Gordon Wisbach, MD is a general surgeon in the United States Navy stationed at the Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), where he serves as Director of Minimally Invasive, Bariatric and Robotic Surgery. He was awarded his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency training at NMCSD. He is fellowship trained in Advanced Laparoscopic/Bariatric Surgery at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He holds the title of Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

CDR Wisbach specializes in Minimally Invasive, Robotic and Bariatric Surgery as well as has an active interest in related research as well as surgical education using simulation. He is the Program Committee Co-Chair for the Military Surgical Symposium at SAGES.
